(Have you had to change your motivation? What ended up working for you? Tell me your story.)
I got me a moped. I am trying to save gas money and wear and tear on my van. Each time I take my van into the fix it shop it usually cost me $300 – $600. And my van goes in every 2-3 months. Right now my air conditioner is not working and summer is coming. I could handle it being in the front seat with the window down, but the poor person in the back seat is dying of heat.
Back to my moped. I had to look for a good bargain. After looking for a month I found one. I paid a little more than I budgeted for, but still a good bargain. For the size of the moped they recommend that the weight of the rider shouldn’t be more than 220 lbs. It can go up higher, though it makes the engine work harder.
So to help my moped investment last longer it would be best if I lost weight. I can’t seem to do it for health reasons, to save money, or just to feel more energy. Maybe feeling sorry for my poor moped will help me?
I am at 253# right now. I am trying to put exercise into my routine and with it being summer I hope it will be easier.
Here is hoping my moped works less as the days go by.
